Are you tending graves?

By donna - Posted on 08 June 2009

'This ressurection life you've recieved from God is not a timid, grave tending life.  It is adventurously expectant greeting God with a childlike "What's next papa?" God's spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who He is and we know who we are: Father and children.  And we know we are going to get what's coming to us-an unbelievable inheritance" Romans 8:15

Determine this week that you are going to STOP tending graves!  Do you know what that means?  that  we will stop "cultivating" , dwelling on, or thinking about those things that only produce fear, or heaviness, or "death" in our lives.  So instead of waking up and thinking about all the things in your life (or your roomies life=0)! ) that are wrong or going nowhere...change it to "tending" or cultivating the thigns that bring life.  Like choosing to believe you are loved, believed in, gifted, strong, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound (sorry -got carried away! - but you get the point)  Lets choose this week to look at God our loving heavenly Father adventurously expectant and be willing to say "Whats next papa?"!  And LOOK for that "unvelievable inheritance He has for you!

It's so simple - Father and children...it's like this.. some of my kids are in Rome this week as a parents we want only GOOD things for them, I want them to enjoy this gift...so much more our heavenly Father wants us to enjoy the gift of salvation, the gift of life..."what's next papa!" ha!

So go ahead and try it with adventurous expectation ask Him - "what's next papa?!"

love it!

It's gonna be a GOOD week!! Look for GOOD things to happen in your life...

It is wonderful and so awesome that He lives and because He lives every new day is worth giving and doing all that you can.

What an awesome God  and loving Father, one that  brings a word or speaks a word into our crazy  lives and creates living manna to take us into the realm of expectency ,life , rebirth and restoration.

It is a special week and wonderful week where He said  it and I beleive it is so. Yaaaaay

Have a bless weekend!

This is such a great reminder PDonna... it made me think about where it says that what you look at changes you... if you're busy tending a grave, your eyes will continue to be on the impossibilities, but if you are looking at God, the possibilities truly are limitless.  He's a limitless God and when you ask Him what's next the answer is sure to blow your socks off.  Great post!
